NYC author wearing care by me :-)
I’m So happy!
Last week our project in Kathmandu got approved as a development project from Danida (A part of Danish foreign ministry ) The objective of Danida Business Partnerships is to create jobs, strengthen competitiveness and promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) in developing countries – This is a great recognition of the work we have done the last two years, and it means in practice that we will get financial and human support to continue the work we have started. It is truly a great help, and i’m so happy and honered – and I will do my very best to create more education and good working conditions for both young and elderly women in the future.
Besides this great news we also attended TWO events this weekend:
We were invited to the Blickfang Copenghagen exhibition – it was a great honor to be part of this event – celebrating new designers 🙂 Heres is what Blickfang writes about the event:
“Discovering innovative labels, meeting over 200 designers in person, sampling products, trying on outfits and best of all, buying them directly on the spot. blickfang showcases furniture, jewellery and fashion from the young and international design scene, apart from mass goods and mass production. The designers are present and can answer questions and offer products that style up our life and make it more beautiful.”
At the same time Janet Bray Attwood NY Times bestselling co-author of The Passion Test, wearing, and talking very positive about care by me another place in Copenhagen, at the ELEVATE2013 – i’m SO grateful to her, and so sorry I was not there to thank her in person – I need to write a letter! It makes such a big difference for a small sustainable brand like ours that woman cares – and finds passion about helping and supporting!
In addition to the above great news we are busy with Christmass – and i look forward to share some of our pictures very soon!
– best wishes Camilla
